Following the February 2025 PlayStation State of Play, Xbox Game Pass fans were treated to exciting news: two highly anticipated games, Blue Prince and Abiotic Factor, will be joining the service as day-one releases later this year.
Blue Prince: A Mysterious Puzzle Adventure
Blue Prince is an intriguing puzzle adventure game set to launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Players will find themselves immersed in a constantly shifting manor where each room offers a new challenge. The game is a blend of mystery, strategy, and puzzles, where players must navigate through ever-changing chambers and uncover the secrets hidden within.
The story revolves around the search for Room 46, with each room offering its own unique puzzles and secrets. As you move through the manor, the floor plan resets, meaning that the rooms you encounter one day may not be there the next. According to the publisher, Raw Fury, every step brings players closer to unraveling the manor’s mysteries, but with the added challenge of carefully choosing which doors to open to avoid traps and confusion.
Abiotic Factor: A Co-op Survival Experience
On the other hand, Abiotic Factor offers a thrilling multiplayer survival crafting experience for 1-6 players. Set in an underground research facility, you and your team of scientists must survive after a catastrophic containment failure. With paranormal forces, a military invasion, and chaos from other dimensions threatening your safety, you must work together to secure the facility and find a way to escape back to the surface.
Originally launched in early access on Steam, Abiotic Factor has garnered positive feedback from the PC community, currently boasting an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating based on nearly 20,000 user reviews. Fans of survival and crafting games can expect a challenging, cooperative experience as they face off against the paranormal and battle their way to safety.
Both Blue Prince and Abiotic Factor are set to make a splash on Xbox Game Pass, adding to the growing library of exciting titles available for subscribers.
This move is part of Microsoft’s ongoing efforts to compete with other gaming platforms and enhance the Xbox experience across devices.
